Meet the Founder

Hello, I'm Sonja Thorsvik, and my mission includes your brand. Since the 1900s, the statistics have remained the same: after just one year, 20% of businesses fail; after five years, 50% do - and that number keeps growing. My mission is to help 100% of companies stay "Open for Business."

The Goal Didn’t Change - The Tools Did.

I’ve helped people discover brands in ways that feel human and genuine. Marketing has changed shape countless times—from print ads and AOL banners to Google Search and AI-driven discovery—and I’ve had a front-row seat through it all. The tools evolve, but the craft of connection stays the same. I believe in consistency, integrity, and longevity: timeless marketing values paired with modern technology to keep brands relevant without losing their heritage.

Do Any Of These Sound Like You?

  • Every business should take action on this topic. The shift already happened. I can help.

  • I back all of my work with statistics and analytics. Marketing is often mistaken for an outward-only perception. Not with Archer House, you will see the needle move with real numbers.

  • Seasoned professionals are strategic in what we offer, and I partner with people who care about doing things right - and doing them well.

  • This I hear over and over again - Something is broken because the site didn’t get monitored, refreshed, updated… (and I know you don’t know your password to log in either). I can fix these for you.

  • There are traditional methods to get your website found, and now modern methods to get AI to recommend you. I layer in both. Not guesswork: these are additions that big companies cite as critical to discovery.

  • Even businesses that are only a year old often have dozens of places they ‘signed up for’. I’ll find them all, organize them, enhance them, end them, or clean them up.

  • I’ve worked with over 65 companies. This is what I love to do, let me help you…

Beyond Archer House

Outside of work, I’m usually exploring. I’ve crossed the U.S. seven times and visited 47 countries (and yes, I’m sad that passport stamps are disappearing), always fascinated by how people live, work, and connect. Those experiences ultimately shape my approach to marketing - because the best ideas often come from the world beyond a desk. I’m inspired by good craftsmanship, long walks, and coffee as bold as my vision.

Simply put:

“Everywhere your logo goes, so do I.”
